In Ealis, the Albright base was devastated, but is being fixed single-handedly by Haruka. Still, prospects for a political solution are bleak.

Read more... Episode 23: Arika of the Mysterious ValleyNatsuki and Nao are recklessly racing through the Sprites' forest back to Ealis. Not seeing where they are going, they go straight over a cliff. With one quick action, Nao brings out what looks like a lipstick but has a string attached to it to which first Nao and then Natsuki hold on so they can climb up the cliff and survive. I guess this puts a new spin to the notion of weapons of a woman. Natsuki and Nao find themselves in a barren land, wondering where they are.

Read more... Episode 22: The Song of DestructionIn Ealis, the ruler of Annan is apologizing to Natsuki for the behavior of Erstin Ho and her family. He remains ambiguous as to her motivation, though, suggesting that many feel like Erstin's family who lost beloved ones in the preceeding wars. They partly blame it on the hording of technology at Garderobe. Still, he promises to honor the treaty with Garderobe and support Natsuki.

Read more... Episode 21: When the White Princess AwakensIn a flashback, Nagi is thinking back to Nina fighting Mikoto, who came out of the harmonium at the end of the last episode. Mikoto asked Nina whether she was the protector or the player, and without waiting for an answer proceeded to attack Nina.

Read more... Episode 20: Don't Call Me NinaThe events in Windbloom and Garderobe worry the leaders of this world. Argoss of Kaldea decides to take action. He sends a letter to Midori telling her that he submits to her group's requests. At the same time he instructs Fia, his otome, to steal the Black Valley's research data while Midori is gone.
Read more... Episode 19: 17-year Old of FateNight has fallen onto the desert. It is a dangerous place to be, in particular for unconscious Mashiro, who collapsed here earlier during the day. Right about when Mashiro is to be eaten by a jabaar, a creature of the desert, an energy blasts illuminates the sky and the jabaar falls over dead. It is some of the Aswad guys, who live nearby, and who are hunting for food.

Read more... Episode 18: WhiteoutThe poor and unemployed of Windbloom have left the city and are trying to make their way to Ealis. For the night, they make camp in the mountaineous region surrounding Windbloom. Two soldiers arrive, asking the refugees for the whereabouts of Mashiro, who is missing. The refugees don't know, and clearly tell the soldiers so. Matter of fact, though, Mashiro is hiding among them, unrecognized.

Read more... Episode 16: It's a Promise!Garderobe is having its Coral students fight each other to determine the top two fighters. Those two fighters will represent the Coral class in a showfight with the departing Pearl class. Nina already succeeded and is set to be one of the two Coral class representatives. Now, Arika is fighting Tomoe for the second seat. With one huge blow, Arika adds to Tomoe's damage, and Miss Maria declares Arika the winner. Nina and Arika will represent the Coral class, and Tomoe has been demoted to third place, a backup position.

Read more... Episode 15: Arika, CryingThe goons are about to rape Arika. Fortunately, Sergey hears Arika's screams and comes to her rescue. The goons are no match for him and his pistol, and with formidable marksmanship he disarms them. When he threatens to shoot them, they are gone and the attempted rape is history.

Read more... Episode 14: An Otome's SOSMy Otome is getting serious. The countries of Romulus and Remus pitched their otomes against each other, and a large widely visible explosion resulted. What may look like a simple border dispute could quickly escalate into a global war.

It all starts with Arika who is unusually down-beat to the extent that she doesn't even enjoy eating. Her friends are confused but don't know how to help her.

Read more... Episode 11: Happy BirthdayFinally, the midterms are over, and Arika and her friends are having a celebratory picnic at Garderobe. They talk about how Arika single-handedly broke all records in the repeat exam, catapulting her to the Coral Number 29 position. As was to be expected, Nina remained Coral Number 1 and Tomoe remained Coral Number 2. Irina pokes fun at Nina who dryly had answered that she just did what she always does.

Read more... Episode 10: That's an Otome's CrisisIt is the second day of the exam hike in the wilderness of Ealis, and Arika and Erstin are missing. Youko has lost their tracking signal, and everyone is worried about their whereabouts. Natsuki decides to cancel the exam, and all the other teams are brought home safely. Youriko finds feverish and exhausted Erstin. Only Arika remains missing.
Read more... Episode 9: Beach - Swimsuit + Desaster = ?It is exam time at Garderobe, and the students are pushing it hard. For Arika, this is the first exam, and hence her first chance to improve from being Coral Number 51 to a better position. She desperately needs to improve as only the top half of the Coral class will be allowed to stay at Garderobe for the second year. As was to be expected, Arika is really good at anything physical, but is lacking when it comes to the more social and refined activities of being an Otome.

Read more... Episode 3: First ExperienceNagi just suggested to give Arika a chance for enrolling at Garderobe. If she wins in a showcase battle against Nina, she should be allowed to enroll. If she looses, she has to go. Mashiro intially opposes this, simply because it is a suggestion by Nagi, who she despises. But when he proposes to drop his suggestion because it might be troublesome for him later, Mashiro jumps on the idea and requests that Arika and Nina fight to celebrate her upcoming coronation. Natsuki gets a headache from seeing Mashiro manipulated so easily.
